Summary
IPI Home Scan is an AI assistant that helps you triage home issues from a photo. We collect only what we need to provide that service. We do not sell your data, and we never use your photos to train third-party models.
Data we collect
- Account info (only if you sign in): email address and authentication tokens.
- Photos you submit: sent to our AI provider for analysis. Photos are not stored on our servers; the AI result is returned in real time.
- Diagnosis history: stored locally on your device only (browser localStorage / app sandbox).
- Language preference: stored locally on your device only.
- Usage diagnostics: anonymous crash reports to keep the app stable.
How we use your data
We use submitted photos solely to generate your diagnosis. Account info is used only to authenticate you. We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data.
Third-party services
Photos are processed by our AI provider in real time. Authentication is handled by our backend provider. Both providers operate under strict data-processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data to train their models.
Your rights
You can export or delete all of your data at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion removes your local history and signs you out of any cloud sync.
Children
IPI Home Scan is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
